The Rencontres Internationales Sciences & Cinéma (RISC), organized by the Polly Maggoo association since 2006, offers a program of short and feature-length films (documentary, fiction, animation, experimental) from an international selection.

The theme and/or approach of the selected films reflect a strong connection with the fields of scientific research including the human and social sciences. Each screening takes place in the presence of filmmakers and researchers, who are invited to meet the audience at the end of the screening.

A competitive section frames the meetings, with 5 awards: 3 Jury Prizes (feature-length, short, extra-short), 1 Extra-Short Audience Prize and 1 Short Film Young Audience Prize.
